How does the security work?

Meridian security is based on security groups that are assigned security roles in each folder of the vault as described in Understanding document security. The default groups are assigned to default roles in each of the vault scopes that are described in Understanding scopes. 

The default assignments are:

Master scope roles

Archive scope roles

Documentation scope roles

Project scope roles

Tags scope roles
