How do I unlink a folder from a Portal project?

It is not possible to unlink a folder from a Portal project and guarantee that no work will be lost, for example, changes being made by a contractor outside of Portal. If a folder is accidentally linked to the wrong project, simply link it to the correct project as described in Linking folders to Meridian Portal.
